Levittown Blue Dragons starter José Durán was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Alameda Airmen, 3-2. Durán got the win, improving to 11-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 5 over 6.2 innings. Durán allowed 2 runs. The save was credited to Michizane Honda, his 14th.
Koin Fukuda was a prime contributor to the Levittown win. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the third with no one out, the 24-year old center fielder hit a 2-run single. It made the score 3-1, in favor of the Blue Dragons.
"Against this team here, fangs out late in the game, it's nice to beat them," said Levittown skipper Sal Haynes.
