The Cut Off Crawdads topped the Columbia River Rats, 4-1, in USPL Single A action at Columbia Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cut Off pitcher Brant Atkinson. The winning pitcher was Atkinson, now 3-0. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. David Roberts finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

Tom Windus took Barry Newman deep in the top of the first. His 3-run home run put the Crawdads on top, 3-0. In all, Windus had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Atkinson said.

With the win, Cut Off elevates its record to 10-5.
