López Stars in 4-2 Commodores Win
Behind a fine performance from John López, the Put-In-Bay Commodores knocked off the Levittown Blue Dragons, 4-2. López belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Commodores. The Commodores have an impressive 43-26 record.

Put-In-Bay grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when López, who leads the SA with a .907 OPS, hit a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Commodores out in front, 3-0.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" López told the Put-In-Bay Bulletin. "You win just by scoring more runs."
