Sánchez Twirls a Gem for Delmarva
Delmarva got a first-rate effort from pitcher Jesús Sánchez, who frustrated Eugene hitters en route to a 2-0 Gallos triumph at The Riot Zone. Carlos Valtierra recorded his 1st save for Delmarva. The first-place Gallos have a one-game lead in their division.

Sánchez's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 6.1 innings while allowing 3 hits. Sánchez, who is tied for 2nd in the SA in wins with 7, goes to 7-0 on the year with 62 strikeouts.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Sánchez told the Delmarva Herald.
