Blue Dragons Best Chiefs in Pitching Duel
The Cave at Levittown hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.

Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Levittown Blue Dragons and the Caldwell Chiefs. Levittown won it, 2-1. Levittown starter Toshiki Matsushita was in command. Matsushita got the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed 5 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. Matsushita allowed 1 run. Min-zhong Deng was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

Alfredo Durán broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fourth with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Blue Dragons in front, 2-1. For the game, Durán drove in one run.

"It was a solid team effort," said Matsushita after the game.

The Blue Dragons improved to 24-14.
