Kennesaw pitcher Robby MacGregor gave the Gallos all they could handle, but in the end, Delmarva left Jets Stadium with a win, 2-1. MacGregor allowed no runs on 2 hits over 6 innings. Nick Bailey earned the save for Delmarva, his 1st. The loss drops Kennesaw to 11-6.

Delmarva used the clutch hitting of Xu Zhu to snag the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Gallos ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Zhu told the Delmarva Herald.
