Alameda Airmen starter Elliott Boyd was in fine form against the Belleville Bulls at Alameda Field, leading his team to a win, 4-1. Edwin Albracht closed it out for his 2nd save. With the win, Alameda lifts its record to 2-0.
With Alameda leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Carlos García hit a 2-run single off Belleville pitcher Félix Pérez. It put the Airmen ahead 3-0.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Alameda skipper Gonzalo Féliz. "I can't complain."
