Streaking Hermit Crabs Win Another One, 3-1
|
The Huntington Hermit Crabs picked up a win at Washington Park, courtesy of Ronald Hensball. The left-hander helped his team stop the Washington Generals, 3-1. Logan Wrighton closed the door for Huntington, picking up his 2nd save of the year. Huntington has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
Ekene Chukwudi, the 21-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Chukwudi contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Huntington up, 2-1.
"Tough loss," said Washington manager Nathan Horton. "But we'll learn from it."
