Expos Walk It Off for 29th Win of Season

The Niagara Falls Expos turned back the Pontiac Godfathers, 5-4, at Waterfall Park. Ben Crosby, in particular, had a fine performance. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Niagara Falls reliever Kyrion Henson picked up the win to move to 2-3. Hal Wilson suffered the loss. At 29-39, Niagara Falls is in 9th place in the Menard's A.
The Expos were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when right fielder Stan Harrell turned a first pitch fastball from Hal Wilson into a 2-run single. The walk-off single electrified the Waterfall Park denizens and sent the Expos home with a thrilling 5-4 win.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Pontiac manager Allen Yohemas.
