Young Ices Matlacha Offense
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Niagara Falls Expos and Matlacha Manatees.
Niagara Falls Expos starter Jeffrey Young had all his pitches working at Waterfall Park. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-0 Niagara Falls win over the Matlacha Manatees. The 9th-place Expos are 28-38.
Matlacha had little success against Young and his fastball. Young tossed 92 pitches over 6.2 innings for the Expos.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Young said. "We did a good job of that today."
