|
Yucca Valley Yellows pitcher Fernando Rivera was in fine form, leading his team past the Mancelona Torch, 7-1. The winning pitcher was Rivera, now 2-1. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 9. Yucca Valley, at 25-33, occupies 9th place in the Menard's A.
Pancho Conaso, the 22-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Conaso contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Yucca Valley up, 3-1.
