Expos Collect 5-1 Win Over Tula
|
The Niagara Falls Expos got a strong performance from pitcher Steve McMillian, who stymied the Chicago offense en route to a win, 5-1, at Ramblers Ballpark. The loss makes Chicago 30-27.
Niagara Falls used the timely hitting of Nathan Davis to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Expos on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
McMillian told the Niagara Falls Citizen: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
