Pontiac Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Pontiac Godfathers defeated the Yucca Valley Yellows, 5-4, in M3L Single A action at Pontiac Copperdome. Pontiac pitcher Francisco Rodríguez had a standout performance. The winner was Pontiac reliever Hal Wilson, now 1-5. The loser was Dave Froley. At 25-27, the Godfathers find themselves in 7th place in the Menard's A.

Russ Hopkins was the walk-off hero for Pontiac. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Godfathers first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This joint was rocking," said Rodríguez.
