Expos Get Past Holy City for 4-3 Win
|
The Niagara Falls Expos topped the Holy City Herons, 4-3, in M3L Single A action at Waterfall Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Niagara Falls pitcher Kyrion Henson. Niagara Falls now sits at 23-27, while Holy City falls to 31-19.
Had Kent Mueller not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Mueller hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Expos.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Holy City manager Júlio González, "let me know."
