The Niagara Falls Expos did just enough to sneak past the Holy City Herons, 4-3, at Waterfall Park. Niagara Falls designated hitter Stan Harrell, in particular, had a standout performance. Miguel Martínez was credited with the save for Niagara Falls, his 2nd of the season. The loss makes Holy City 31-18.
Ben Crosby took Al Leonard deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Expos on top, 2-0. In all, Crosby had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Harrell.
