6-3 Loss to Expos Extends Alaskan Losing Streak
|
Niagara Falls and Alaskan duked it out and the Expos came out victorious.
Niagara Falls Expos starter Jeffrey Young was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Alaskan Bush Pilots, 6-3. Alaskan's current losing streak is now 6 games.
Sidney Ames, the first overall pick in the 2053 draft, helped out the Niagara Falls cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Young. "Successful pitchers do it."
