Day Brings A-Game, Vibes Beat Godfathers
|
In a low-scoring contest, Rocky Mountain pitcher Tim Day was marvelous in his team's 3-1 win. The save went to Rafael Souza, number 2 for him. With the victory, the Vibes upped their record to 18-17.
Day made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 3-2.
"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Day told the Rocky Mountain Bulletin. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
