|
The Buffalo White Walkers tallied a win at Beyond the Wall, throttling the Greenville 84s, 3-0. Starting pitcher Qu-bing Li was a big reason for his team's success. The hot start continues for the defending champion White Walkers. This was their 8th win in 11 games.
With runs few and far between, the White Walkers had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Buffalo came in the bottom of the fifth inning, when catcher William Berg delivered a 2-run single. The single was hit off Bob Kelso and made the score 2-0, White Walkers. Berg was 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Berg.
