The Billings Polar Bears had to overcome a fine performance from Ithaca pitcher Millard Clement to grab a 3-2 win at The Igloo. Clement allowed 2 runs over 6.1 innings. Billings, with the win, is 16-55.

Billings won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Emery Kehler on the mound for Ithaca, pinch hitter Guillermo Rodríguez hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Polar Bears fans to their feet.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Albert Pérez.
