Goodnight has 4 hits tonight, Leads Krewe to Win

The Crescent City Krewe defeated the Minnesota Loons, 5-0, at Field of the Krewe today. Leading the charge for Crescent City was catcher Steve Goodnight. He was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Al Hussey got the win, improving to 6-3. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 3 hits and no runs, while striking out 7 and walking 3. Sang Song recorded the save, his 5th.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Goodnight hit a solo home run. It propelled the Krewe into the lead, 1-0.
"I really like what we did out there today," Goodnight said after the game.
The Krewe have an impressive 46-25 record.
