Thunder Hawks Lose By a Run at Ithaca, 6-5
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks got a superb performance from right fielder Andrew Brown. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Ithaca. The Fighting Imps won the game, 6-5. Brown was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. Denny Schneider recorded the save, his 20th. Ithaca is in third place in the Premier AA with a record of 38-29.

Jon Rice, who is tied for 2nd in the PAA in stolen bases with 12, aided the Ithaca cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop was 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"We found a way to get it done," Rice said.
