Ft. Polk South left fielder Norberto Álvarez had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Billings Polar Bears, 9-7. The win belongs to Ze-dong Jiao in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Richard Kinmont took the loss for Billings. Ft. Polk South is now 27-39, while Billings is 14-52.
Álvarez had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the eighth for the Thunder Hawks. Coming up with the bases loaded and Ft. Polk South trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run single.
