Voodoo Get Past Buffalo for 1-0 Win
|
Anthony Coleman was in top form in a low-scoring contest between New Orleans and Buffalo. The Voodoo right-hander helped his team beat the White Walkers, 1-0. Tim Strong sewed up the save, his 6th. New Orleans, at 55-41, sits in second place in the Premier League.
Runs were few and far between in this one. So, Arthur Witter's at-bat with no one out in the top of the eighth was crucial. The New Orleans left fielder hit a sacrifice fly, to give his team a 1-0 lead.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau, "let me know."
