Squirrel Hill picked up a win at Field of the Rawhides, toppling the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 2-0. Pitcher Bill Bray was one of the reasons the Pierogis triumphed. The 8th-place Thunder Hawks have lost 5 consecutive games.
Bray, who dominated for Squirrel Hill, earned the victory to move to 1-1. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 7. Ft. Polk South batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
