Billings designated hitter Lance Price had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Price went 2-2 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, even as Ithaca beat the Polar Bears, 8-7. Ithaca reliever Dewitt Page picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Juan Graciana absorbed the loss. Denny Schneider was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.

Paul Johnston, who is tied for 8th in the PAA in RBI with 21, aided the Ithaca cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman drove in 2 runs.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Fighting Imps manager Albert Pérez. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The Polar Bears, now 6-25, have lost 4 in a row.
