Athletic Club KC Academy Lose to Screaming Eagles in Walk Off
The Athletic Club KC Academy got a superb performance from pitcher Bruce Viera. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Mercer Island. The Screaming Eagles won the game, 3-1. Viera threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The Screaming Eagles, now 11-5, have been red hot.

Milo Hamilton was the walk-off hero for Mercer Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Screaming Eagles first baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

Hamilton said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
