Fighting Imps Earn 3-2 Win Versus Polar Bears
The Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Billings Polar Bears, 3-2, in USPL Double A action at Imps Park. Ithaca pitcher Luis Martínez had a standout performance. The Fighting Imps, now 7-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Ithaca won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Mike Peterson on the mound for Billings, right fielder Paul Brown hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Fighting Imps fans to their feet.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Martínez.
