Screaming Eagles Stick Thunder Hawks with 5-2 Loss
|
Víctor Sánchez led Mercer Island to a win over Ft. Polk South. The final score was 5-2. The right fielder collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Sixto Espinosa, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 3. Gustavo Carrillo picked up the save, his 1st.
