Mitchell goes 3-for-4, Leads Whales to Win
Michael Mitchell was a major factor in the 8-1 Virginia Beach win over Chesapeake. The Whales right fielder went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. José Lewis got the win, improving to 1-2. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Virginia Beach is 8th in the Silver AA with a record of 48-54.
