The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas defeated the Olympia Ogres, 3-1, in USSL Double A action at Ghost Crab Park. Chesapeake pitcher Maurice Richards had a standout performance. Chesapeake now has a record of 41-32 with the win.

Richards, who was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, threw 121 pitches over 8.1 innings, while allowing no runs.

In postgame comments to the Chesapeake Gazette, Richards said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
