Ogres Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Fat Cats
In a well-pitched game between the Olympia Ogres and the Ottawa Fat Cats, pitcher Ken Milligan was fantastic. The Olympia right-hander helped his team secure the win, 1-0. Reliever Michael Poe picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. George Taylor took the loss. Ronald Reynolds closed the game out for Olympia, earning his 2nd save.

The Ogres got a big at-bat from right fielder Mal McGrath. For the game, McGrath went 1-2 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Olympia a 1-0 lead.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Milligan said.

The Ogres are now 13-13, while the Fat Cats fall to 12-14.
