Taylor Sensational for Fat Cats
|
Ottawa Fat Cats starter George Taylor pitched effectively against the Marquette Miners at Nationals Park. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 1-0 win. The 6th-place Fat Cats are 10-11.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Taylor, who tallied 7 strikeouts in 8 innings and allowed only 3 hits. Taylor, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2052 draft, raised his record to 4-1 on the year with 30 strikeouts.
"George was throwing free and easy," said Ottawa manager Ismael González.
