Yucca Valley Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Yucca Valley Yellows had to overcome a fine performance from Pontiac pitcher Eric Morris to grab a 3-2 win at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Morris allowed no runs over 7 innings. After losing, Pontiac is 0-2.
Bogdashka Eremkin was the walk-off hero for Yucca Valley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yellows catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
Eremkin said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
