Cangrejos Fantasmas Stun Miners, 5-2

The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas took Marquette pitcher Dermott Kalman's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ghost Crab Park. The final score had Chesapeake getting past the Miners, 5-2. Kalman went 7 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 7. The win has Chesapeake at 3-4.
Ángel Ríos drew 1 walk for Chesapeake. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Mario Ledezma. It was his 1st walk of the season.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ríos told the Chesapeake Gazette.
