Casper Gets 7-3 Win
The Casper Ghosts topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 7-3, in M3L Double A action at Toledo Backyard Park. The standout performance belonged to Casper pitcher and Wyoming, Michigan, native Tom Hancock. Hancock got the win, improving to 5-11. He allowed 3 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Hancock allowed 1 run. With the win over Toledo, the Ghosts improved to 47-49.

With runs few and far between, the Ghosts had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Casper came in the top of the second inning, when shortstop Cal Smith delivered a 2-run single. The single was hit off Eric Morris and made the score 2-0, Ghosts. Smith was 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
