Keith Anthony was a major factor in the 6-4 Lancaster win over Barton Springs. The Farmers second baseman was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. Chad Edwards got credit for the save for Lancaster. It was his 2nd of the year. The 4th-place Farmers go to 43-40.
Tommy Olsen, the 23-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Olsen contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Lancaster up, 4-2.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Anthony. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
