Farmers Get Dramatic 7-6 Triumph

The Lancaster Farmers defeated the Casper Ghosts, 7-6. Doing his part was second baseman Lee Park, who went 1 for 1 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Lu Tan, credited with the win, is now 1-2. He allowed no runs on no hits. The 6th-place Farmers lifted their record to 40-40.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Ghosts allowed the Farmers to score the winning run.
"This place was jumping at the end," O'Kerrigan said.
