Kodo Slugs Ghosts to 4-3 Win
|
The Casper Ghosts knocked off the Lancaster Farmers, 4-3, at The Graveyard. Munoto Kodo was a big reason Casper won. The third baseman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. John Bunch earned the win to go to 8-5. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts in 8 innings of work. The win gives Casper a season record of 40-39.
Kodo had a timely hit for Casper in the bottom of the eighth. With Lancaster trailing 3-2, he turned a full count fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Casper.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Kodo told the Casper News.
