Dolphins Saddle Fur Traders with 5-3 Loss
|
Ballpark of Tacoma was the site of a competitive game between the Tacoma Fur Traders and Pine Island Dolphins.
The Pine Island Dolphins picked up a win at Ballpark of Tacoma, knocking off the Tacoma Fur Traders, 5-3. Starting pitcher Dan Clark was a big reason why. William Bishop got credit for the save for Pine Island. It was his 9th of the year.
Pine Island used the bat of Frank Chang to capture the win. The shortstop jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dolphins ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Clark told the Pine Island Daily News.
The last-place Fur Traders have lost 4 straight games.
