Lancaster Makes It 11 Straight with 6-5 Win
The Toledo Saboteurs got a superb performance from pitcher Rabi Tamir, but the Lancaster Farmers still won the game, 6-5. Tamir threw 5.2 innings of 1-hit ball. The winner in relief was Martin Allen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. Chris MacIntyre was credited with the save for Lancaster, his 2nd of the season.

Lancaster used the timely hitting of Mark Morgan to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Farmers on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"This team is real focused right now," said Lancaster manager Dave Davis.

The winning streak has now reached 11 games for the Farmers.
