Farmers Get One-Run Win at Barton Springs

Blues Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Lancaster Farmers and Barton Springs Blues.
The Lancaster Farmers racked up a win at Blues Field, bumping off the Barton Springs Blues, 4-3. Ernst Ayotte, who started for Lancaster, pitched effectively for his team. The win was credited to Chad Edwards in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Wladimir Rosenburg took the loss.
Lancaster used the clutch hitting of Lee Park to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Farmers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
Park attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
