Dolphins Saddle Saboteurs with 2-1 Loss
Dan Clark never let the Saboteurs get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Dolphins to a win, 2-1. The winning pitcher was Clark, now 3-1. He tossed 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. Victor Jones was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.

Pine Island used a well-timed hit by Malik bin Nadim to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dolphins ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We scored one run," said Toledo manager José Zamora. "You're not gonna get a lot of Ws scoring just one run."

With the win, Pine Island has a record of 28-19. Toledo falls to 23-24.
