Late Magic Gets Lancaster 3-0 Win
The Lancaster Farmers took Arizona pitcher Brandon Fox's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Javelina Ballpark. The final score had Lancaster getting past the Javelina, 3-0. Fox went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 3. The winner in relief was Jeff MacNiven. He is now 1-1. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. Christian Malone got the save, the 4th for him this season.

Lancaster used the clutch hitting of Dave Enrick to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Farmers ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Enrick said after the game.

Lancaster is 11th in the Menard's AA with a record of 13-18.
