Rivera Excels in 7-2 Toledo Win
A 5-RBI performance from Alejandro Rivera, who is tied for 10th in the 3AA in RBI with 15, helped the Toledo Saboteurs beat the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, 7-2. Ben Jones, now 1-1, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Toledo now has a record of 14-12 with the win.

Rivera contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Toledo in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Rivera took a changeup from Juan Romero and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Saboteurs to leap in front, 4-1.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Rivera told the Toledo Chronicle.
