A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Boston Patriots and Greenville 84s.

Boston starter Martin Luther kept the Greenville offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 11-1. Luther, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up no walks.

The Patriots got a big at-bat from first baseman Shichirobei Hisamatsu. For the game, Hisamatsu went 1 for 5 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Boston a 1-0 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Hisamatsu.

Boston, now 6-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
