Battery Make It 4 Straight with 5-1 Win

The Charleston Battery picked up a win at Charleston Armory, knocking off the D.C. Divided, 5-1. On the mound for Charleston was right-hander Ronald McDonald, who played a pivotal role in the win. McDonald, now 3-6, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Charleston has won 4 straight games.
Charleston grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases empty, Andrew Wilson delivered a solo home run, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Battery.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Wilson after the game.
