Northern Lions BC Snatch Late Win

Condor Nest was the site of a tense game between the Santa Catalina Condor and Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC.
Thunder Bay got a strong outing from Wulf Hinkamp as the Northern Lions BC defeated the Santa Catalina Condor, 3-2, at Condor Nest. The Northern Lions BC now have a record of 35-40 with the win over Santa Catalina.
Richard Ramírez's at-bat in the top of the ninth was significant for the Northern Lions BC. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Thunder Bay trailing 2-0, the Northern Lions BC center fielder reached on an error by the C, driving in 2 runs.
Afterward, Northern Lions BC manager Scott Williams was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
