Late Magic Gets Westwood 4-2 Win
|
Westwood starter Dave McCormick pitched well against the Richland Rails at Rails Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Westwood sits at 4-5.
Westwood used the timely hitting of Todd Huffman to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 16th inning to put the Sixshooters on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"No time for flexing," said Huffman. "It's always one game at a time."
