Fur Traders Snatch Late Win
|
The Graveyard hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.
The Tacoma Fur Traders picked up a win at The Graveyard, taking down the Casper Ghosts, 2-0. Starting pitcher Jaime López was a big reason why. The win lifts Tacoma to a record of 2-7.
Tacoma used the clutch hitting of Dave Wilson to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Fur Traders ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We didn't score," said losing manager . "That was the problem."
