Rails Sink Farmers, 2-0
|
Richland Rails pitcher James Ellison was all business, helping his team muzzle the Lancaster Farmers, 2-0. Martín Cedeño closed the game out for Richland, earning his 2nd save. Lancaster, with the loss, is 3-2.
Had Colm Reyes not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Reyes hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Rails.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Reyes told the Richland Daily.
